Electrosurgical Coagulator

The high-frequency electrosurgical unit ECO-800BIV is designed for cutting and coagulation of biological tissues, replacing the traditional mechanical scalpel. Its operating principle is based on the application of high-frequency and high-voltage electrical current delivered through an active electrode, providing precise cutting and reliable hemostasis.

The unit is equipped with an automatic control system that ensures fast and accurate parameter adjustment according to the clinical task. This improves visualization of the surgical field, reduces smoke and odor during procedures, and enhances the comfort of the surgical team.

Thanks to its ergonomic and safety-oriented design, the electrosurgical coagulator features integrated monitoring systems that reduce intraoperative risks and ensure stable equipment performance.

Scope of application. The ECO electrosurgical system is intended for use across a wide range of surgical specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, cardiothoracic surgery, and anorectal surgery.

When operating in low-power modes, the system can also be used in neurosurgery, microsurgery, ENT surgery, and plastic surgery, where precision and minimal thermal tissue impact are critical.

The high-frequency electrosurgical device is compatible with endoscopic, laparoscopic, and cystoscopic equipment, enabling effective minimally invasive and intracavitary surgical procedures.

The electrosurgical unit supports a wide range of cutting and coagulation modes, allowing adaptation to various surgical tasks.

CUTTING MODES include High Cut, Pure Cut, and the combined Blend Cut mode with three intensity levels.

• High Cut. A mode optimized for underwater vaporization resection, providing clean and controlled cutting with high precision and stable performance.

• Pure Cut. A pure cutting mode that enables accurate linear tissue incision without significant thermal damage to surrounding structures.

• Blend Cut. A combined cutting and coagulation mode that reduces bleeding and provides improved visual control during procedures.

COAGULATION MODES include Soft Coag, Forced Coag, Spray Coag, and Bipolar Coag, enabling effective hemostasis during surgical interventions.

• Forced Coag. A forced coagulation mode intended for contact point hemostasis, ensuring fast and efficient tissue coagulation with predictable electrosurgical effects.

• Spray Coag. A non-contact coagulation mode where the electrode does not touch the tissue. Suitable for hemostasis over large surfaces and uniform superficial coagulation. Can operate with argon (when an argon controller is available) for argon plasma coagulation.

• Bipolar Coag. A bipolar electrosurgical coagulation mode for neurosurgical and general surgical procedures, providing reliable coagulation of tissues or vessels between two bipolar instruments with high precision.

• Soft Coag. Gentle contact coagulation with minimal thermal impact, ideal for endoscopic surgery and other procedures requiring fast and controlled coagulation with improved postoperative healing conditions.
