The laparoscopic endoscopic tower – is an integrated system designed for procedures on abdominal and pelvic organs. The configuration includes an endoscopic camera with photo and video recording capability, a medical monitor, LED light source, insufflator, irrigation–aspiration system, and the KENTAMED hARTT-400 electrosurgical unit.
During the evaluation, surgeons noted stable CO₂ delivery with accurate maintenance of intra-abdominal pressure, which is essential for safe pneumoperitoneum formation. The irrigation and suction system ensured a clear operative field without workflow interruptions.
Image Quality and Energy Control
High-quality visualization is critical for precision in laparoscopy. The HD camera provided clear imaging of anatomical structures, enabling confident work around vessels and delicate tissues. LED illumination generated a stable light output without overheating the operative field.
The electrosurgical coagulator by the Bulgarian brand KENTAMED demonstrated reliable performance in cutting and coagulation modes. Surgeons highlighted predictable tissue response and the ability to switch modes quickly without interrupting the procedure.
Practical Outcomes of the Evaluation
The evaluation was performed during real surgical procedures, allowing assessment of both individual components and overall system integration.
