On April 26, Loran participated in the professional event “Dermoscopy in a Bomb Shelter: Advanced Level,” organized by dermatologist Svitlana Diachuk. The event brought together doctors and interns working in the diagnosis of skin neoplasms who aim to improve the accuracy of clinical decision-making.
The workshop format combined a theoretical part with hands-on practice. Participants reviewed clinical cases, applied dermoscopy algorithms, and practiced approaches to evaluating neoplasms in real clinical situations. This format allows not only acquiring knowledge but also immediately integrating it into daily practice.
Modern dermatology: algorithms and diagnostic accuracy
Dermoscopy is a key tool for the early detection of skin neoplasms. It enables the assessment of microstructures that are not visible during a standard examination and significantly improves diagnostic accuracy.
ILLUCO dermatoscopes in clinical practice
As part of the event, Loran presented ILLUCO dermatoscopes:
These models are adapted for everyday clinical use – from initial examination to the analysis of complex cases. The IDS-1100 is used for basic assessment of neoplasms, the IDS-9100 provides more detailed imaging and photo documentation capabilities, while the MAGNUM 4-in-1 combines multiple operating modes in a single device. ILLUCO solutions are known for stable image quality, polarization features, and ergonomic design, which are essential for routine use in medical settings.
Dermatology equipment from Loran
Loran also presented dermatology equipment that enables a full-cycle workflow for dermatologists.
For diagnostics and monitoring, the Firefly DE-300 digital dermatoscope and the Aram Huvis ASW-300 trichoscopy system are used. In the treatment segment: CryoPro for cryodestruction, Kentamed RF-100 for radiofrequency procedures, and the Gigaa Laser GBOX diode laser for treating vascular and pigmented conditions.
Additional precision during examinations is ensured by LORAN and NSE EL-Q40 headlamps. This equipment allows physicians to work comprehensively within a single office – from diagnosis to treatment.
