An extremely difficult operation to remove a fragment from the heart of a Ukrainian soldier
At the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, our doctors performed an extremely difficult operation: the removal of a shell fragment from the heart. The doctors noted: that the heart of the Ukrainian soldier continued to beat during the operation itself!
The operation was performed by Borys Todurov, a cardiac surgeon, doctor of medical sciences, professor, honored doctor of Ukraine, and director of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
Also, the other day, doctors of the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine performed a heart transplant in Lutsk. The patient and a team of doctors led by Boris Todurov from Kyiv arrived in Lutsk, where the transplant was performed.
Our condolences and gratitude to the donor's family for saving four lives thanks to their decision. Because in addition to the heart, two kidneys and a liver were also transplanted.
We are incredibly proud of our specialists. Thank you for saving the lives of Ukrainians and doing everything possible and impossible in this difficult time for the whole country!
Olga Bogomolets opened Bogomolets Clinic in Lviv
Honored doctor of Ukraine, doctor of medical sciences, professor, and dermato-oncologist Olga Bogomolets opened a new medical and diagnostic center Bogomolets Clinic in Lviv. Congratulations to the residents of the city with a new dermatological clinic of an expert level! The doctor also plans to expand the geography of his assistance to Europe, namely to start a medical practice in Poland. So very soon our cool doctors will be providing care all over the world.

A Ukrainian surgeon has developed a stroke detection bot
Andriy Maranov, a surgeon, created a Telegram bot called Just save a life. It helps to recognize a stroke. The project was developed with the help of the "Guaranteed!" communication campaign.
The bot has clear pictures that describe the external signs of a stroke, by which you can recognize this condition, and advise on what to do in such cases. Using geolocation, the bot will tell you where to find the nearest hospital with a stroke department. You can also search for a hospital manually.
There will be a rehabilitation center for military and civilians in Kyiv
A complex rehabilitation center for wounded civilians and military personnel is planned to be created in Kyiv based on regional clinical hospital No. 2. The first stage involves the creation of more than 30 beds.
Currently, there is no such military hospital with a rehabilitation center with comprehensive specialized medical care in the Kyiv region.
