Plasma surgery is increasingly becoming part of routine practice in Ukrainian ENT departments. It is considered one of the most gentle and controlled methods of working with soft tissues. International clinical guidelines note that low-temperature plasma can significantly reduce perioperative pain, shorten recovery time and improve overall treatment outcomes, especially during adenoidectomy, tonsil surgery and procedures involving laryngeal structures. The cold-plasma system operates on the principle of radiofrequency plasma generation, allowing tissue resection, ablation and coagulation at much lower temperatures compared with traditional electrosurgical techniques.
