A Holmium Laser Litho 30 from the Italian manufacturer Quanta System was recently installed in a hospital in the Rivne region.
The use of a holmium laser represents a significant step forward for urology departments. According to the European Association of Urology and the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), Ho:YAG laser technology is considered the “gold standard” for treating urolithiasis, as it ensures effective fragmentation of stones of any size and density.
For doctors, this means precise control during lithotripsy, minimal risk of complications, and the ability to operate even in complex anatomical areas. The Litho 30 laser is also used for soft tissue procedures – ablation, coagulation, or removal of pathological formations – expanding its applications beyond urology.
In clinical practice, this system helps improve the quality of surgical procedures and shortens patients’ recovery time. Due to its precise energy delivery, the penetration depth is minimal, reducing damage to surrounding tissues to the lowest possible level. This is especially important when working with organs requiring high delicacy.
The installation of the Holmium Laser Litho 30 in the Rivne regional hospital demonstrates how advanced technologies are becoming accessible across Ukraine’s regions. Doctors have received a tool that meets international standards and has proven its effectiveness in leading European medical centers.
Loran Group will continue to ensure that modern medical equipment becomes part of Ukrainian healthcare practice – because investing in technology means investing in patients’ health and the development of medicine as a whole.
