Dermatoscope with UV LED

The MAGNUM IDS-3100 dermatoscope is a device for diagnosing the skin surface. It features a new ultraviolet lamp concept with a powerful UV LED and a specially developed lens coating. Different skin conditions can be checked with the appropriate lighting and magnification options.

The device has four light filters: non-polarising light, polarising mode, 395 nm UV, and 405 nm UV (Wood's lamp).

1. Non-polarising light - for examination of the skin surface, detection of actinic keratosis, non-melanoma skin cancer.

2. Polarisation mode, as in ILLUCO IDS-1100, for the diagnosis of melanoma and skin lesions by reducing skin glare. The edges of the lesion are visible.

3. UV (405 nm) - diagnosis of skin fungal or bacterial infection, skin inflammation, acne, photodynamic diagnosis of skin cancer using fluorescence.

4. UV (395 nm) - study of pigmented and hypopigmented skin lesions, including melasma and vitiligo, and determination of the location of melanin pigment.

These 4 different illumination options of the MAGNUM IDS-3100 dermatoscope will help to develop and improve the diagnosis and subsequent treatment of the patient.

The Magnum dermatoscope eliminates the weaknesses of existing LED dermatoscopes, providing perfect light reflection. Easy to use, yet powerful in operation.

The specially designed aspherical lens reduces spherical and optical aberrations and provides a clear image with minimal distortion. In addition, a special lens coating makes the object viewed through the lens sharper and clearer. AR coating improves lens protection and UV transmission and prevents dirt and scratches on the lens. There is an anti-reflective coating.

The IDS-3100 UV skin lamp has a sleep mode: to reduce power consumption, the dermatoscope automatically switches off when it is idle for 5 minutes. The ultraviolet lamp for skin diagnostics has a special stand, so it is easy to store and charge.

Ultraviolet skin examination is used to detect bacterial and fungal skin infections, and pigmented and hypopigmented skin lesions, including melisma and vitiligo.

Applications: dermatology, veterinary medicine, general medicine, vitiligo, melisma, acne pigmentation, sebum, actinic keratosis, squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), lichen planus, pigmented and hypopigmented skin lesions, skin fungal and bacterial infections, skin inflammation.
