The device has four light filters: non-polarizing light, polarizing mode, ultraviolet 395 nm, and ultraviolet 405 nm.
1. Non-polarizing light – study the surface of the skin.
2. Polarization mode, as in ILLUCO IDS-1100, diagnosis of melanoma and skin lesions by reducing skin glare. Visible edges of the formation.
3. UV (405 nm) – diagnosis of skin fungal or bacterial infection, skin inflammation, acne, photodynamic diagnosis of skin cancer using fluorescence.
4. UV (395 nm) – the study of pigmented and hypopigmented skin lesions, including melasma and vitiligo, and the determination of the location of melanin pigment.
The Magnum dermatoscope eliminates the weaknesses of existing LED dermatoscopes, which provide perfect light reflection. Easy to use but powerful in operation.
